I think it's pretty great. (The only reason I don't like this game as much as the first is because Rin just doesn't do it for me like Miku does.)
I'm happy to say the translation turned out just as good as the first time. At least, if you like what I did with the 1st VN, I used the same approach on this one.

Just one thing I've noticed so far: after the line 'Anyway, I'm not mistaken that there's a pair of panties under the bed quilt/futon' in the transcript, there's the phrase 're-word'. Is this a note that was left in? A minor problem, and otherwise, so far so good! ^^

I couldn't agree more with you about the excellent translation, the patch was well worth the wait. The sheer effort made in forming the dialogues is all clear to see.
As for the VN I thought it was fantastic, with IMO a great story on par with that of its predecessor; then again, saying that I am a Rin fan myself as well. The interaction between your character and Rin has you laughing one minute, then another time leaves you feeling sad and quite emotional. Playing through the VN was incredibly rewarding; though having played the previous Miku VN I came to expect nothing less. The small twist during the story was quite nice as well and made everything come together.

Nice, I'm glad people are liking this. Of course I had a feeling that some typos etc. would be there that I didn't see, even while looking for them. So there will be a v1.01.
And of course, already someone asks about the 3rd game. Well, everyone knows how much I liked the 1st game. And I have to admit, when you put all the parts of it together, the 2nd game is equally impressive. So chances are good that I will like the 3rd one enough to do that too (I haven't played it yet...the gal game I've been playing the most recently is Dream Club)

@anonymous: I understand that you want a decision, but how many translators would commit to something they hadn't read yet? (plus, I don't know if the 3rd game is as popular as the other 2, etc.)
@DmonHiro: The layout is a lot like your blog, with the posts on the left and the table of contents on the upper right (maybe you missed it because it's too small on my page). But click where it says "Vocaloid-based Visual Novels" and the links are all on that page.
