Go get the Miku patch for Suzunone

I'm a week early I guess, but Merry Christmas, and here's something for your stocking.

Timbre of our Future. This short story involving Miku is not a full-blown sequel, but more like an add-on. Or an encore performance, you could say.

What really got me is the ending sequence. It's the exact same one as the last game, the "White Letter" one! I sure would have liked a different ending video. It's like TriggerHeart Exelica for the PS2 where they made such a big deal about adding Faintear as a playable character, and then you get the exact same picture of her at the end of each stage! (all the other characters have pictures that change)

But, that aside, if you liked the previous story, I think you'll like this.

I'll grab it in a bit, looking forward to read, but if you look carefully you'll notice that the CG from midway of Mirai no Neiro appears in the ED here, despite the rest of it being the same.

Excellent! As always, thanks for your work.

Nice! Out of curiosity, will you be doing anything with Mirai no Uta to, Tsunagaru Hitomi(http://vndb.org/v5481)?

Right, that was an awfully short feeling 45 minutes ;_;, but so far I only picked out one typo, 'steadling' isntead of 'steadily'. http://i52.tinypic.com/15hifme.png

There is also a sequence where Miku's name is not Romanized, but it's not a big flaw anyway:

Now how about the SS?

I figured you would be among the 1st to try this, Salanos

I try not to think about how much time for me to write / how little time for you to read, it's a downer man. Instead I just think "I write it once, it gets read many many times."

I'll upload a v0.5.1 before I go out of town.

What's SS?

Oh, I almost forgot to answer this question:
"will you be doing anything with Mirai no Uta to, Tsunagaru Hitomi?"

Maybe. It's probably only a question of when. I won't be working on anything until 2011. Then, I probably will be working on the Rin portion of the 2nd VN.

I'm sorry if I pull you down a little by saying it that way... I'm just disappointed about how relatively short the story was this time. And you are right - these are 45 minutes I will return to more then once and the fact that you have made it possible for me to enjoy it is something I'm not sure I can thank you enough for.

As for the SS, if you look in the gallery after completing both main stories there is something labelled 'SS' - which I believe stands for 'special story'. Seems like a further continuation of Mirai-no-Neiro, my guess is an insight to what happened during her shutdown during Miku-su.

Well, the Rin part looks about twice as long to me.

OK, I saw an extra "omake" file but didn't know it was shown as "SS" since I haven't looked at the Rin part yet. But I could tell that should be the last part of the game since it is hidden.

I have silently updated the patch to 0.5.1. It fixes Miku's name, the "steadling" thing you found, and a typo in the opening slide show ("yoursself"), I'm surprised no one caught before--including me.

Yes, you have to pay to download the novels. You can get both for about $20.

Wow, I'm surprised how fast you work, even if it was only 45 minutes worth. I wasn't expecting you to start for a few months, and yet you're already done with the first half!

Thanks a lot for translating it, and I can't wait for the Rin part.

I'm glad. I haven't started the Rin part yet though. I've read some of it, that's all.
