The patch covers about the first 40%. So, it's up to you now. You can get started right away, knowing that you'll have to put it down for a while and go on to something else. Or, you can wait a while for the whole thing up front and then play it all. Your move!

How does this Hatsune Miku game work exactly? Do you make songs with her or is it just a typical bishoujo game with choice options and dialog? If it's the latter, I'd imagine it'd be pretty boring with only one character to choose from.

Yes, this is a kinetic novel, not a music game. There are no choice options.
I might have skipped over this one completely, but I was hooked because the character artwork is awesome, and the guy can tell a pretty good yarn, too. I like it a lot better than that Miku manga.
Do you need help on editing the images such as save, load, menu or cg mode?

I think it'd be nice to have as much as possible in English;
I also wanted to have confirmation that the patch was running...in a small, unobtrusive font at the bottom of the title screen, showing for example the patch version number and staff member(s)...

For graphical purposes, it looks fine, this is what I had in mind.
