Partial patch for Mirai no Uta
Only the first half, it's not alpha or unedited or anything like that, although words do not wrap yet.
It's not like it's a long game, so some people will want to wait for the entire thing. But, some people will want to start it right away and not mind taking a break in the middle. Anyway, it's there on the vocaloid visual novels sub-page, if you want it.

About running Japanese PC games on Windows...
Well, I'm still seeing people around the internet having trouble running these games. So I put this here as a reference.
If a Japanese game malfunctions when you try to run it, the first thing you should try is:
Change your computer's language setting to Japanese!
Even if you've got an English patch, that still does not guarantee the game will run on regular Windows settings. On the contrary, I doubt any of Japan's game developers test their games on anything but Japanese Windows!
If you want to download and use the Microsoft AppLocale utility, that's one way.
Me, I just changed WinXP to Japanese like this:
Control Panel->Regional & Language Settings->Advanced->Language for Non-Unicode Programs: Japanese, click OK, let it install fonts if they aren't already there, and restart Windows.
And I can leave it in Japanese mode always, because standard English programs use ASCII. I currently am not running any English program that is broken by leaving my computer in Japanese. (If I do, I'll just set it back.) And Japanese games always work and I don't have to bother with AppLocale.

Yes, I'm still translating!
To answer that last comment. I'm still here. Sorry that things are going so slow. But, I caught up some this week. Because I had to be out sick from work. During that time, I got some translating done. It's looking better now. I've decided to stay within the first 50% of the game--get that done completely before moving on. Looking back, I did something similar with the 1st game as well.
By the way, I've become interested in programming lately. During the summer, I learned Java and made a kanji multiple choice quiz program. It quizzes you on the first 1000 most basic kanji. It's got 3 modes: onyomi, kunyomi, and English meaning. It's a very simple program, but it works for me. I have a PC version and an Android version.
I've also learned something about the Intel CPU. I've been watching several exe's run under a debugger. It's kind of neat to see what goes on "under the hood", I think. Probably has no practical use for me, though.

reality check
Well, looks like Project Zoom909 is facing a few cutbacks. Similar to running a business, I guess. Back when it seemed like I was having more free time, I started more projects. Now, things are different: every once in a while I might have an hour or so to work on this stuff. So, it's time to downsize. First thing on the chopping block is the Lyrical Lisp stuff, since nobody seemed to give a flip. Next, I'll be attempting to taper off my role in Yoake. Guess the other editor will have to pick up the slack. She's faster and/or has more time than me anyway. That will leave us with our core competency here at Project Zoom909, the Miku VNs. If we can't even handle that, we might as well shut our doors.
I am about 50% done with the first pass translation of Mirai no Uta. (In case you've forgotten, I normally do 2 passes of translation, 2 passes of editing, one final playthrough, and done.)

what I'm trying to do in 2012, project wise
At the moment, I am trying to fix up the translation of Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro na.
It was apparently abandoned by the original editors, but now a couple of new ones have been recruited. I'm one of them.
Realizing that the translation has not been checked for accuracy either, I'm having to go through and read the Japanese and corresponding English lines as I change them. I estimate about 80% of the changes I'm making are due to English writing errors, 10% are due to Japanese reading errors, and 10% are "questionable" phrases that just seem a little off.
So far, I'm happy with the way it's going and the rest of the staff seems friendly.
The other thing I plan to work on this year is (surprise) Mirai no Uta to Tsunagaru Hitomi. I was kind of on the fence about it at first, but let me tell you what happened: from the time Vocaloid 2 came out to around the time Project Diva came out, it was a regular activity for me to go search around the internet for all things Miku. After that, except for the VN translation and that concert on 3/9/2010 , I became mostly preoccupied with other anime & game stuff. This year, though, and I'm not sure exactly how, I think it's because I listened to a bunch of old Vocaloid songs on a road trip...I seem to have Miku on the mind again lately. Go figure...

Supplement Time is active again...
...if you haven't paid attention, Amino seems to be updating the web site (http://doubleegg.blog89.fc2.com/) again. So at least active in that sense.
I had given up checking it myself, but some observant person mentioned it in the comments.
So now, we can check back every so often and see if anything important is coming up.
(I wonder, will they notice that there are any foreign fans of their games?)
